I will also be doing a YouTube video for the site but will not have a date for when that will be available because of problems I am having with my voice.

Hi I am Rich, the creator of the My Sudoku Assistant. The My Sudoku Assistant is an Excel workbook which facilitates solving sudoku puzzles. Initially this workbook was started several years ago just for my own use. At the beginning it just calculated the available candidates for each square and provided a screen for solving the puzzle. Over time more and more features were added to the point where I thought others would also enjoy it. So here we are. This project was used just to learn a little bit about programming. I still would not consider myself to be a programmer, but I did learn a lot.

The workbook contains 15,000 puzzles with five levels of difficulty each having 3000 puzzles. You can also enter your own puzzle which the workbook will find a solution to and also verify it is the only solution to the puzzle in less than a tenth of a second. Entering and editing the puzzle is very easy, error checking as you go is an option, and colors can be used to aid in solving the puzzles. A link below giving instructions on how to download and get your workbook setup is given below.

With this website you will be able to learn how to use this workbook, by examples and explanations about the nuts and bolts that make it work. In addition, there is a discussion board where you can ask questions and voice your opinions. I look forward to hearing what you have to say and will do my best to answer any questions you might have.
